This association came into existence on 12th Feb 1978. All the civilian engineers of three disciplines i.e. Civil, Electrical/Mechanical and surveyors of Military Engineer services have contributed to great extent to establish this organisation. Ours is an All India Organisation having branches all over the country right from Nalia (Gujrat) to Agartala (Tripura) and Leh Ladakh (J&K) to Kochin (kerala).

The association has been recognised by Ministry of Defence, Govt of India and serves the service interests of 7000 MES Engineers comprising of junior Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Executive Engineers & Superinteding Engineers. The Association is a constituent of “ Confederation of Defence Recognised Associations” which is a central govt recognised Federation under ministry of defence.
